The water tester provides reliable measurements based on the included tablets. The Pool Lab 1.0 comes standard with 20 x DPD No.1 (free chlorine), 20 x Phenol Red (pH), 10 x DPD No.3 (total chlorine), 10 x CyA (stabilization), and 10 x Alka-M (alkalinity) tablets.
Instructions for Use Pool Lab 1.0 Pool Tester
On top of the Pool Lab water tester, there is a water compartment. You fill this with pool water. The water tester is waterproof, so you can easily scoop pool water from the pool. Then close the compartment with the included cap. Press 'Zero/Test' to perform a zero measurement. Use the 'Mode' button to select the desired measurement result (chlorine, pH, stabilization, alkalinity). Then add the appropriate tablet to the water and let it dissolve in the water using the included stirrer. Close the compartment and press 'Zero/Test' again. The value will appear on the display within 15 seconds.
